The Safe Side Stranger Safety DVD - $19.97
Julie Aigner-Clark, creator of Baby Einstein, and John Walsh, host of "America's Most Wanted," have launched an innovative new series of home DVDs designed to teach, empower and entertain. This new approach to helping your kids find the safe side in challenging situations.
"I've thought for a long time about how to teach my children to stay safe. I want them to walk through the world with awareness, not fear. To be empowered to make the right decisions at the right times. To know that it's okay to get out of a situation that feels wrong, to trust their instincts, to say no," says Julie Aigner-Clark.
This DVD gives parents simple, fun and interesting ways to discuss difficult topics with their children. It is a laugh-out-loud DVD that kids will love watching again and again. As they watch, important safety tips are presented by Safe Side Superchick, the zany lead character portrayed by actress and award-winning documentary film-maker Angela Shelton, in ways kids can relate to and remember.
The Safe Side creative team includes Julie, John, production members from the "Spy Kids" movies, and an upbeat, danceable theme song by Gary Greene of Hootie and the Blowfish, all of whom are parents of young children.
