Heroes of the Promise Series #2: The Legend of Ten-Gallon Sam and the Perilous Mine - $12.99
There is never a dull moment in the old West town of Promise. Oddly enough, the lives of some of the townsfolk resemble some of the best-known characters of the Bible. Keeping a watchful eye over this somewhat wacky town is the White Rider. Always present but only appearing to those who seek him, the White Rider provides guidance to those wise enough to listen to what He has to say.
In Ten-Gallon Sam and the Perilous Mine, you'll meet Sam, a man with extraordinary strength. As a baby, he was given a white hat from the White Rider, and as long as he's wearing that hat, he's stronger than anyone alive. One day, the White Rider gives Sam a task--a crooked banker named Phil is trying to cheat the people of Promise and steal their farms. Sam saves the day, but Phil is not happy and plans his revenge. Sam lets his victory go to his head, and Phil uses his niece Delilah to learn the secret of Sam's strength.
Based on the Bible story of Samson in Judges 13-16, Sam learns that sometimes the greatest enemy we can face is our own prideful heart. At the end of the book, the "Ponderin' Points" help children think about their strengths and how they can use them for God. You'll also find a short devotional and instructions on how to build a ten-gallon hat! Recommended for ages 6 to 10.

Customer Comments
"I so appreciate your responding to me (even if I got the news I was dreading! Ha!). I will start calling around. Thanks again for your time . . . and God bless you, too!"

"KIDZ ON EARTH ROCKS! If you need a testimonial or reference from a satisfied customer, don't hesitate to ask. Our VBS shipment arrived today...including the Bible Memory Buddies! I don't know how you managed to do it (oh, okay, I do know ultimately how you managed to do it), but thank you so much for the timely filling of our order (in spite of my own poor timing!). I look forward to doing more business with you in the future."
Tim - Eagle Point Community Bible Church
