Minnesota Cuke - Action and Adventure!

The new show from those creative guys at Big Idea is coming June 25th, 2005 - they seem to have a hit on their hands with this one "Minnesota Cuke and The Search for Samson's Hairbrush."

The story features Larry T. Cucumber as an action hero Vegetable - and Larry is good!!! Larry plays Minnesota Cuke - peaceful children's museum curator by trade, daring explorer in a fedora at heart! When Cuke learns of the legendary hairbrush of Samson, he ponders using its powers to defeat his life-long nemesis, professor Rattan - a "bad guy" who has bullied Cuke since the second grade, leaving him tempted to retaliate.

This episode presents an important lesson about dealing with bullies. I am sure that we all remember the days in school when we had to face a bully or experience classmate who had to deal with this kind of a person. This was not fun at all.

The Old Testament Bible story in this episode is from the story of Samson and deals with the choices that faced Samson during his life. Our Lives are full of choices and important lessons that we must learn from those choices. I always tell kids that they need to remember that the choices they make today will determine who they will be in the future - so make good choices. This Veggietales episode teaches us about making good choices. As Children (and parents!) we must learn to share, obey, forgive, love others and sometimes we have to deal with bullies and Larry T. ( Minnesota Cuke) helps us out on this one as we face all those choices in our lives.

There are some great extra bonus features on this episode. The Silly Songs "Pizza Angel" it is set to a fifties song and Larry's delivery is late and he is not happy. In the end he does find a solution and everything is cool.

This episode seems to be on track for a good response from Veggietales fans accross the globe. I myself like the action adventure of the Larryboy episodes and this one seems to be right up the action adventure alley. So I love this new Epsiode - and I believe kids and parents accross the USA will love this new episode as well. By the way - I hear that there are more Larryboy 3D epsiodes coming in 2006.
